"I knew what to look out for after hearing so many of your podcast episodes in preparation for our kitten. I knew I was going to ask about as much information on this kitten's history as possible since we really wanted a kitten that would be brave and affectionate at the same time. We got incredibly lucky and found a 14-week-old kitten that was in a foster home… and we made an adoption appointment that same week and fell in love with her. We re-named her Sushi and took her home! I wanted to say thank you. Sushi is a purrfect fit for us and I am already harness/leash training her. She is the most easy-going kitten ever and had no issue wearing the harness. We are clicker training her, prey playing 4 times a day, feeding her wet food (also 4x a day), and training her "let's go!" for her adventure backpack. Since we have an apartment about 750sq. ft., I wanted to make sure Sushi would have her height requirements as well. We purchased some of those wall mounts that allow cats to climb up without taking any space on our floors like a cat tree would.
