Pumpkin for Cats

Although cats are obligate carnivores and must eat a meat-based diet to thrive, some fruits and vegetables are good for extra nutrition.

Pumpkin is an excellent source of soluble fiber, which helps keep your cat regular and aids digestive health. Pumpkin is helpful for BOTH constipation and diarrhea. Canned pumpkin is good and if you are using fresh, be sure to puree it before giving it to your cat.

Pumpkin is an good, natural solution for kittens with diarrhea.
